

SafetyCall International (SCI) was founded in 2004 and is the recognized leader in adverse event management and post-market surveillance services to industry. SafetyCall's staff of health care providers is available 24/7. The founders of SCI also co-founded the Minnesota Poison Control System in 1981. SafetyCall International is the first triple licensed health care practice in the US (pharmacy, veterinary medicine, human medicine) and one of only two animal poison centers in America. Our staff have managed over 1.5 million cases. Seven of our senior staff members hold academic appointments at the University of Minnesota and are involved in many of the difficult and complex forensic toxicology cases in the upper Midwest. The staff at SCI and Pet Poison Helpline have written over 100 scholarly publications and book chapters in many top medical, veterinary and pharmacy journals. This includes our most recent veterinary textbook - The Five-Minute Veterinary Consult Clinical Companion: Small Animal Toxicology. The staff of SCI and Pet Poison Helpline also lecture internationally as experts in their field.
SafetyCall International and Pet Poison Helpline also promote and foster academic and scholarly activity by their affilliations with the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and College of Veterinary Medicine. This includes sponsoring two residency programs in these Colleges.
